A quick look and you will possibly come to know that dinning and shopping are 2 most fascinating features of Seoul. However, after a little more research and exploration, you will come to know that there is a rich history, parks and mountains, innumerable neighborhoods and an exceptional Korean culture to explore.

As far as the top things to do in Seoul are concerned, it could go on and on. That is why it isn’t possible to describe about all the Seoul attraction in one article. However, I can guide you to 10 most fascinating things to do in Seoul that allures me a lot whenever I think about this amazing destination. So, let’s get started:

Pay a trip to the Bukchon Hanok Village:

This village is one of the most preferred photo spots in Seoul. Travelling around the streets and viewing the traditional Korean homes can be a lot of fun. There are also a few guest houses in the village that will certainly give tourists a great travel experience. If you love Korean street food, then this is a must-visit place.

Shop some cosmetics at Myeongdong:

A cosmetic lover’s paradise, at Myeongdong you can avail all the admired Korean cosmetic brands – from Etude House to MISSHA and Tony Moly. Check out the “buy 1 get 1 free” option. Also, don’t feel shy to bargain with the vendor.

As a region that swells to thousands of shoppers daily, you will have a great time here, even if you just wish to watch people.

Visit Lotte Mart to buy some Korean snacks:

If you love snacks of different flavors, then don’t miss a trip to Lotte Mart. Don’t forget to bring a spacious bag because you can’t resist buying MarketO brownies, Lotte biscuit sticks, tteokbokki crackers and several other appetizing Korean goodies.

Ride the cable car on Mount Namsan:

Though Mount Namsan is an easy 237 meter peak, but athletically challenged people may find difficulties while climbing it. Don’t worry! There’s a cable car to take you to the peak. At the peak, you can easily witness the breathtaking view of the city.

Korean barbeque:

When it comes to food, Seoul is literally a paradise on the earth for foodies. Throughout my visit to Seoul, I was mesmerized and bamboozled at the same time, arguing what to eat.

Korean barbecue is an excellent way to hang out while eating the varieties of appetizing meat. You sit at a desk with your own private grill in front of you, ask for plates of meat, roast it right before your nose, and enjoy the meat with some appetizing Korean side dishes (leaves of garlic and lettuce).

Taste the Korean ice-creams:

Koreans truly know how to make ice-creams well and I was lucky to savor some of the most amazing ice-cream flavors in Korea. There’re so many delicious looking ice-cream that I wish I could taste all of them.
